Final Post at This Time

Everyone,

I want to thank you for your support of “Word With You” over the past few years. Unfortunately, time demands do not allow me to continue publishing it at this point. Intense Living.com will continue to operate and be updated on a regular basis.

The “Word With You” (http://wordwithyou.wordpress.com) site will continue to exist as an archive, but no new entries will be added at this time. If my personal situation changes, then the service might be brought back in the future.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 (NIV):

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,

Thoughts: Am I making the most of the life that I’ve been given?

Ezekiel 18:32

For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live! (NIV)

Thoughts: I thank God that he provided a way for us to live. He didn’t have to, but He chose to because of love.

John 12:44

Then Jesus cried out, “When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.” (NIV)

Thoughts: Does the way I live demonstrate that I truly believe?

James 1:27

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (NIV)

Thoughts: What actions can I take so that I can remain clean and not become polluted?

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (NIV)

Thoughts: Would I describe my spirit as steadfast?

John 15:17

This is my command: Love each other. (NIV)

Thoughts: Not an option, but a command without exceptions…

Ecclesiastes 3:14

And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. (NLT)

Thoughts: Do I treat God with the respect that He deserves?

Isaiah 60:1-2

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”

Thoughts: When life seems very dark, the Lord is there to provide the light we need.
