Consider: Isn’t it amazing that the Creator of the Universe wants to be personally involved in our lives?

2 Timothy 2:4

No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs — he wants to please his commanding officer. (NIV)

Consider: Am I concentrating on the things that my “Commanding Officer” wants me to concentrate on?

Romans 14:19

Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. (NKJV)

Consider: To edify means to improve, enlighten, or uplift morally, spiritually, or intellectually. How can I edify someone today?

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (NIV)

Consider: What are the things that so easily entangle me? How can I avoid those things?

Ecclesiastes 7:14
