1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. Consider: Am I running my race with purpose?

Lamentations 3:25

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. (NKJV)

Consider: Do I struggle with “waiting on the Lord?”

John 6:19-20

When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” (NIV)

Consider: Things are not always as they appear to be. Sometimes the things that terrify us are the very things we need the most.

Jude 1:20

But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. (NIV)

 Consider: Is there someone I can “build up” today?

Micah 6:3-4

[God says,] “My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me. I brought you up out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery.” (NIV)

Consider: Do I spend more time complaining to God about my current situation instead of thanking Him for all the good things He’s done for me?

Romans 13:7

Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. (NIV)

Consider: Am I giving what I owe to those around me?

Hebrews 13:7

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (NIV)

Consider: Who are the faithful leaders I imitate?

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. (NIV)

Consider: What am I holding onto today? Is it truly good?

Proverbs 10:9

The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. (NIV)
