Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (NIV)
Consider: Do I allow situations and circumstances to keep from hoping in God’s promises?

I heard a sermon several years ago that really “stuck” called Under the Circumstances relating to the way we approach life: either with Hope as the psalmist or walking around with the burden of circumstances. At one point the pastor walked across the front of the sanctuary hunched over: under the circumstances, to illustrate the point.
Last evening I was counseling with a person and used that in our session–now, as re-affirmation, God gave me the Psalm via your daily “word with you”…Thanks to you and to our Lord who gives us all we need…always!
